TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Networking of all the Departments and different sections of G.M.College will be Network as follows: 

• System architecture of extended LAN

• Creation of Bills of Material as per the system architecture

• Coordinate with respective H/W vendor in Procurement related activities

• Works as a single point deployment agent for all installment and commissioning activities

• Testing of  all locations to the Server Room by using ping S/W

• One month post deployment support

• Post Implementation support for 1 year

• Define logical network architecture

• Define physical network architecture diagram

• Define logical system architecture

• Define physical system architecture diagram

• System Setup and configuration

• Configuration validation & testing

• Creation of critical network to access multi platform Servers (Windows, Linux, Unix and Novell) simultaneously

• Status reporting

• Installation and Configuration of Linux server for C, C++, Fortran, Java, Apache, Oracle 10g, Postgrey SQL, PHP

• Installation and Configuration of Windows 2003 Server for Domain Controller, Oracle, Tomcat, Java, MS SQL, My SQL

• Installation and configuration of Novell Netware Server for DOS based application

• Installation and configuration Backup server

• Installation and Configuration of OS (Windows 98, XP or Linux) in all client PCs

• Installation and configuration of corporate standard antivirus Server

• Configuration of antivirus client in all clients

• Creation of Users and authentication for all students in all servers

           Network configuration of each client to access all servers simultaneously

• One Hop point (Hop-1) is at Botany Department

• Another Hop point (Hop-2) is at Conference hall

• Hop-1 will facilitate 8 Departments located near to Botany Department

• These locations are within 40 to 70  Meters distance from Hop-1

• Proposed Hopt-2 at conference hall  will facilitate 6 locations excluding the conference hall main point

• These locations are   30 to 60 Meters distance from Hop-2

1.   The tender form will be available from the date of the publication of the advertisement  in the News paper on all working days from the office of the undersigned.

2.   The tender form is not transferable.

3.  The cost of the tender Paper is Rs 1000/(if received personally)Rs1050/(By post).The amount is to be sent in shape of demand draft drawn infavour of principal,G.M.College payable at any nationalised bank in Sambalpur .The college will not be responsible for loss or delay in delivery of the Tender paper to the tenderer.

4.   The cost of the tender paper is nonrefundable.

5.  The last date for receiving the sealed tender paper in the college office is the 15^th day of the publication of the Tender Notice.

6.  The tender paper shall be opened on the last day in the office of the undersigned in presence of the parties (if any) or their representative who has submitted the tender.

7.  Tenderers are required  to send their tender papers completed in all respect in a sealed envelope super scribing “TENDER  FOR THE NETWORKING OF G.M.COLLEGE” by register post or speed post to the undersigned. In no case it will be received by hand or by any private courier service ..Tenders incomplete in any respect will be summarily rejected.

8.   Each tender should be accompanied with earnest money deposite(E.M.D)at thr rate of  1% of the quoted price in shape of N.S.C/postal saving pass book duly pledged in favour of principal, G.M.college, sambalpur.The EMD so made will be converted in to security deposite incase of the tenderer whose tender will be approved and the same will be liable to b e forfeited in case of  noncompliance of work with in 45 days from the date of issue of the work order.The EMD shall be refunded to the unsuccessful tenderers after finalisation of the tender.

9.  Tender paper must be accompanied by photocopies of the following documents duly attested by gazetted officer with seal.

a)  income tax clearance certificate for the year 2005-06

b)  VAT clearance certificate.

c)  List of institutions/organizations where such type of work has been undertaken by the tenderer.

 10. The firm concerned will have to demonstrate  the performance of the NETWORKING before the expert committee on date to be intimated later by the Principal .

11. The payment shall be made in full only after installation and satisfactory demonstration of the NETWORKING. No part payment or advance payment will be made.

12. Any dispute arising in any case will be settled in Court of Sambalpur only.

13. Approximate cost of Networking Rs 9,00,000(NINE lakhs).

14. The tenderer whose tender will be accepted for NETWORKING is required to deliver the materials in the college free of freight charges.

15. The recent passport size photograph of the tenderer duly  attested by gazetted officer with full signature in front of it is to be pasted on the place provided in the tender paper.

16. It is not binding on the part of undersigned to accept the offer with lowest bid.

17. The undersigned reserve the right to reject any/all tenders or accept any tender without assigning any reason thereof.
